Simple and engaging

This reminds me of Ken Ken or Sudoku in a good way. It would benefit from a more advanced notation system or display which could indicate how many trees have already been assigned to a region (perhaps make the region glow or have its border light up).

Overall, I really enjoyed the puzzles. Great for occupying your time while you ride the bus or train to work. I really like that you can toggle the hints and timer off. Well done.
